Mr. Madness slips away, leaving wreckage in his wake
Shortly after midnight on Saturday, Mr. Madness was given a shock when police stormed the building for Nathan Evans. Evans was battered, bruised, and in worse state than all the victims except the likes of Clark. He also reported an attempted rape very shortly before police stormed the building. It was these shouts that made police draw the conclusion that the drawn-out hostage situation could not wait.
"We saw the whites of his eyes." Police Chief Nelson, who was present with the SWAT team storming in. "But somehow he eluded us." Mr. Madness managed to bolt down the hall and set off a charge that forced the SWAT teams back.
Evans has not spoken about the incidents yet, but states that things had gone steadily downhill after Bell and West were released. Evans is in hospital for several moderate injuries and two broken ribs. He is also being treated for shock.
Several of the university's classrooms were damaged. Classes are expected to resume in a week, but all schedules are tentative. Students are advised to check into the UNO and see what has been posted. Those at the head of the UNO state that they will not be releasing information on their website or via news.
Once again, Mr. Madness is on the loose. Do not approach. Call 911 if seen.
