Okay, so these are the madness that comes from Kim's mind. There's only Ember for now, but believe me, there will be plenty more!
 
The fiery girl herself ♥ Ember is a twenty three year old Mortician in Charity Hospital. She suffers from a heart condition HCM which no one knows about apart from her family. She's extremely closed to people and will only share necessary information when asked questions. She surprises a lot of people. She loves guns and bikes and spends most of her time around dead people because "they don't ask questions". She's a tough nut to crack all right and her kickboxing skills don't help much with that either!
This girls needs her friends. Sure, she doesn't open up much but at times she can get really down and depressed and could use someone to cheer her up and ward her away from the bad boys.
But when it comes to romance things get tricky for Ember. She's bisexual so open to anyone really, but she has a distinct attraction to the bad boys, but hopes to find herself a nice guy/girl who will treat her right. Also, when she's really depressed, she's likely to end up in bed with someone so a few flings and one night stands are inevitable.
With a girl like Ember the enemies keep piling up. Bear in mind that some people may just be grossed out by her job or her hobbies and she's bound to annoy and hate someone at some point.

Lemme start with Anne, because I can see a friendship there; albeit not a very deep one. Anne is not a good shoulder to cry on, but she'd tell her who to avoid, which is kinda funny, seeing as she looks like a bad boy herself. That actually could make for an awkward moment at a bar, particularly now Anne's taken. XD
Next, there is Skylark. He'd probably be a little creep ed out by her job, but he'd not be deterred. Probably ask her what they do with limbs that fall off or something, because he's an amputee. He wouldn't stop until he got through to her, troublesome he is like that.
And that leaves Dexter. Last but not least. He's a good boy from a small town through and through, perhaps he gets into some trouble? He's a photography student that sometimes ends up where he shouldn't be for the sake of pictures, and maybe he ends up in some place by motorbikes. Being clumsy, he knocks her over by accident or something...and we see how it goes.

Alex and Ember
Methinks either a friendship or relationship. Alex is currently unattached and wouldn't mind a few close/decent friends herself. She wants closeness with people, but at the same time she is a private/secretive sort of person who doesn't like others asking too many questions. She reveals bits and pieces about herself in her own time, when she's more comfortable with someone. Alex works at the hospital as a doctor, but lives a double life as a cage fighter as well. As for relationships, I can see Alex being attracted to Ember - whether a relatioship develops depends whether the attraction is mutual. Alex is a bit of a bad girl herself but after her experience with a previous relationship i think she would come around and treat her next girlfriend right. Being a doctor in ER it's likely she would have gotten patients in the past who have had complications from HCM.

I like this idea. I can see an attraction building more over time, but a relationship with Ember won't ever be easy. It's going to take a lot to get her to open up and even then she's going to be feisty about doing so. Her HCM is something she wouldn't willingly bring up, but I can guarantee that a relationship with Ember will be filled with drama, if Alex can handle that.

Oh the drama =D! It'll make the plot interesting and in that case it seems like a make or break relationship! Likewise, relationships with Alex is drama-filled as well, she doesn't open up completely to other people about certain things about her - there are some things that are too painful to talk about and some things she is ashamed about. So! Would you like to start the thread or shall I? I am a bit muse deaded so I wouldn't know which spot would be best to start it etc...
