DON'T LET THE SUN GO DOWN ON ME------------------------------------------ He didn't always get into other peoples business and all that kind of stuff, but he was pretty sure that sometimes he just had to stick his nose into something. This was one of the cases that he had to put his nose into things, he was a strange man and it just went that with him as well. Zain was a kind man, and he would help out people that wanted and needed help, as long as something good was to come from it. This is where he starts, when he heard about the attack, and everything that was going along with that, he felt well odd, he did not like hearing about people getting hurt, because of the things that had happened in his family. So when he found out that Remy was in the hospital, he thought that it would be a good thing for him to go and see her, maybe take her some flowers or something, just you know, to brighten up the room that she was going to be in. Hospital rooms were so plane and boring, he did not like them, when his mother was in the hospital he had made sure she had flowers in her room at all time, so that she never felt sad before she passed on from the cancer. It worked, and she was always smiling before things went on, so now he had to make sure that she was going to be happy as well, it was the least that he could do, and he did not know why he just had to. So that morning he had everything planed out, it was the most weird morning that he could have.
So he had gotten up, making sure that he had remembered what hospital room that she was in, and making sure he knew the rules of what he could and could not take in. Once he had that down he went and got showered and cleaned up, he did not want to offended, then got dressed and went about gathering the things that he was going to need for the day. Tucking his wallet in to the back of his pants and went out of the house, he would grab something to eat after he went to see her in the hospital. Walking down he got into his car and started off down the road, taking al left then a right and went about heading to the flower shop that was close to the hospital that he knew. It was a small shop but it had nice people and he knew that he could get what he wanted from there. Parking he got out and went into the shop looking around, he soon found what he wanted and talked to the lady about getting it all pulled together, paying for it he then went and got back into his car.
Once back in he started the car up again and went about heading to the hospital again, he did not want to miss the time that he could see her in so he was going a bit fast. Good thing there were no cops out today or he would be in a lot of trouble, and there were not so he was good. Finding a good spot he parked ad got out of the car, going around he went and got the flowers out and started to the hospital as he could walk. He went to the front desk once he got into there, asking what room she was in, just to make sure that he knew what room to go to, though he did have the right number in his head. He walked to the elevator and took it up to the floor that her room was on, it was a nice hospital, he just didn’t like being in there sometimes, to many bad memories. Sighing he road up and waited, soon the door came open and he was out of there again, walking down the hall he made his way to her room. He didn’t know if she was going to be awake or not, there could be a lot of things going on in there. So he got to the door, looked around for a moment, rubbing his eyes and then knocked on the door before opening it slowly and poking his head into the room. "Remy?" He said softly not knowing if she was awake or not. ---------------------------------------------------

I DREAM OF FALLING BECAUSE I LONG TO BE CAUGHT
She had slept at first – the anaesthesia still holding sway after the time spent in surgery. And whilst bright eyes were closed, the horrible morbid blankness of the room was something she had no knowledge of. And then there had been the fleeting moments of consciousness – flashes of white-washed walls, a light blue plastic curtain which would have much better suited a shower and blinding pain – before the morphine drip was turned up, and the dull, chemical clean of the room was blocked out once more. But in time the pain had dimmed – or at least her awareness of it was no longer so sharp – and hours at a time would be spent staring with an expression of gloomy solitude at one or another of the bland white fixtures of the room. Would it have hurt them to replace this unnatural lack of colour with something chirpier – sunflower yellow, sky blue, warm reds and purples? Because at least then there would have been some hope that the girl’s unsinkable high spirits would have stayed afloat. But here in this lonely white box, her struggles had failed and her shiny happy outlook had dimmed to a smouldering ember of lost hope.
It would have been hard for anyone to smile after being nearly killed by the local madman – but if anybody had had a chance at it, it was Remy Clark: the girl who could laugh at anything, and find the light side of any situation. But even Remy had given into the gloom of her situation: waking up to the news that she had five broken ribs and that doctors were ‘fairly certain’ that they had stopped all internal bleeding. Admittedly, she had even managed to smile at that, and content herself with the thought that she was alive and not permanently damaged – which was surely a blessing? The sadness had only taken hold after five hours alone with nothing to hold her interest except dark memories of a man, a knife, and the brutal impact of a car. Eventually the girl had given up all hope of finding something more positive to focus on in the hospital, and had fallen back to sleep – though this time due mostly to boredom rather than exhaustion.
But even sleep proved to be no escape from the uncharacteristic sadness which had clung to the slight figure since the attack. It seemed her subconscious was ganging up on the girl and trying to force a lifetime’s worth of slyly avoided sorrow on her in on go – because as soon as the girl’s mind slipped dream-wards, all she could imagine was the back of the girl’s dorm. The early morning sunlight dappled through the trees. The squeal of tyres where there shouldn’t be, and the detached pain as she crumpled sideways under the force of the impact. The shadowy face leering down at her – the kick of the boots, the shard pain of the blade. On her bed she squirmed slightly, salty tears seeping from closed eyes as whimpers escaped the tight throat. If only there was a striking young hero just ready to come to her rescue.

DON'T LET THE SUN GO DOWN ON ME------------------------------------------ Zain never knew how the attack went, he had only learned about it in passing, from some of the other staff and what not. He was always the last to know about things, and it just seemed he was falling more and more behind in the long run. This just seemed to be his luck, thankfully he was a nice person and in so the concern to see what had gone on had risen up into him. He was pretty sure that he could do something, though how small or whatever that could be, he just wanted to do something nice and help out. So what he was going to do, was go and bring flowers and what not, he was weird like that, but someone had to do it right. Someone like him, oh, so yes, he did very much think himself a knight in shinning armor type of person, or that of a random dude who just did random things like this. Taking his time to make sure that he was not going to bother her, when he was going to see her, he never wanted to upset anyone, so he was making sure he was going at a time that he thought no one else was going to be there around her. Some people would think that it was odd, him a teacher checking on a student, but he thought that it was pretty normal something. He was from London after all, and over there, they had different kind of morals and all, you always took care of someone, no matter who they were if they were hurt.
He had been in the hospital many times thanks to the fact that he was always getting into something, not always a good something but it was something. He just had this habit, and he wanted to stop that, because he was thinking something was going to go weird if he kept ending up in there. He did not want to lose his job over what he was doing, so he was working on stopping. This time though, he was not there for himself, he was there to see Remy and what not, make sure that she was alright and stuff. He was into back stories so he was making sure that he covered everything as he was going along. He had picked up a paper and read about the attack, and how they were thinking it was some random person, he didn’t know who it was, or what could be going on with this. He hated people that just went and attacked people for no reason, it was mean, stupid and down right evil, then again this person sounded like someone who had a black heart and was as evil as evil could get.
He had come to her door, checking to see if anyone was in there other then her. When he saw no one, and that she was sleeping, he came into her room quietly and sat the flowers down on a side table. He walked over to her bed and sighed some, pulling a chair over to the side of her bed he looked at her. Some people would think that he was creepy but he felt like he should, like it would be something nice for him to do for her. He pulled out a tissue from the box on the side table and moved his hand over. Gently he wiped away the tears that she seemed to be crying, he felt so bad, she must have been having one hell of a nightmare to be crying like that. He sighed softly and threw the tissue away getting another and drying her off again. "Shh, it's ok, your face here, and you don't need to be crying any more." He said quietly as he did so, ok some people would think that he was like some weird stalker like person, but he was really trying to be a nice guy. She looked like she could use someone like him around, to help, seeing that most people wouldn’t bother, he was going to step in with that one. ---------------------------------------------------

I DREAM OF FALLING BECAUSE I LONG TO BE CAUGHT
At first Remy was unaware of the gentle hand brushing away tears – but the warm, rough voice broke through her unsavoury dreams, and wide hazel eyes fluttered open. It was perhaps unfortunate for Zain that what Remy currently feared the most was the sight of a shadowy male face bearing down on her – and that was exactly what she saw. Of course, she would never be frightened of this particular man – the professor she had come to like perhaps a little too much. Zain was the one who helped her through any of her work she struggled with, he was the one who rescued her from the absurd situations she managed to absent-mindedly get into in class – hell, Zain was as good as a friend, though she knew he shouldn’t be. But it just so happened that at the moment any male face would have frightened the living daylights out of the girl – and Zain’s was no exception. As soon as she adknowledged his prescence, things happened very quickly – the sharp scream, and then the way she curled tightly, almost protectively, in on herself, despite the protest from painfully broken ribs. Trembling hands covered her face, and Remy waited for a harsh beating that never came. It took quite some time for her to convince herself to let her hands drop, and to look helplessly up into her teacher’s face – her breath still coming in frantic little fearful gasps – but when she did she blushed furiously, unfurling slowly. She must look like an absolute tool, she told herself harshly – of course the hospital staff wouldn’t let the attacker into her room. She shouldn’t have screamed like that – what if Zain was offended, or worse, thought she was just plain stupid. She pushed herself into a sitting position with a wince, brushing the remaining tears from her face with the back of her hand.
“Sorry”, she offered sheepishly, glancing nervously at the man. “I thought…” Well, she didn’t need to explain, she was sure. She took a few deep, calming breaths, before she took in the bunch of beautiful roses at her bedside. She smiled warmly, because that was what she did – even if it didn’t quite reach her eyes. But whilst it didn’t instantly sweep all her current issues aside, the fact that Zain had cared enough to bring her flowers brightened up her world at least a little. She turned back to her teacher, and gave her sincere thanks, glowing with the same cheerful innocence which made her seem so much younger than she was. “Thank-you Professor Delwyn – they’re beautiful. You really didn’t have to – I’m alright, really.” As if anyone would believe that sentiment after walking in to find the girl crying desperately in her sleep. The smile faltered a little, but Remy managed to keep it in place – she couldn’t allow herself to be weak enough for this little set-back to dent her happy-go-lucky attitude.

DON'T LET THE SUN GO DOWN ON ME------------------------------------------ He so did not see her screaming like that coming from a mile away, so when she did he nearly jumped out of his skin in his chair. He couldn’t help putting his hand over his mouth as he held back a laugh, he knew what she might have thought, and really he did not blame her for the things that were going on. How could he? Really he knew she must have thought he was her attacker, thankfully he was not and he was going to make sure that this all calmed down there in a moment as he looked over at her. He breathed a moment, claming himself down as well, seeing that this had gotten him as well, silly thing like that, but it did, and he was just letting himself calmed own like she was claming down as well. He looked at her and smiled softly, trying to come off as nice, since he was nice and he liked her, but he did not want to scare her any more then he could guess she already was at that moment. He ran his hand over his face to calm down a moment and just looked at her, she was pulling herself together, he was just letting her have that moment to breath. "There is no need to be sorry Remy, really I can completely understand, I should be the one that is sorry, I really didn’t mean to come in here and scar you like that, really was quiet rude of me and all." He said waving her sorrys off and smiled again.
He looked around the room for a moment, it was so white, so like a hospital room, save for the thing of flowers he had just put in there. Didn't anyone else want to come and care like he had wanted to come and care about this. He looked at her again when she had said thank you, and called him Professor Delwyn, he winced a little bit, he hated being called that. Something about it just bothered him, he always had in class that as well so he just shook his head some. "Zain please, were not in school you don’t have to call me professor. And I did, i wanted to make sure that you had some brightness in this room, i know how alone and dull a hospital room can get, so I wanted to make sure that you didn’t have to go through that as well. I wanted to come see how you were, when i heard, it was terrible to hear about. I um, I had to come see you to make sure you were ok." He said looking down for a moment, he didn’t like that she had been hurt, weird man that he was, he couldn’t stand people getting hurt like that. And specially someone that he had been really working on getting to know the last while. ---------------------------------------------------

I DREAM OF FALLING BECAUSE I LONG TO BE CAUGHT
Zain spoke with such enthusiasm that she felt herself lifted up by his words. The man’s way of speaking was so quaint – his striking English accent, the way his hands moved wildly as if to punctuate his speech. Just watching him talk dragged the beginnings of a sincere smile back on to Remy’s face. She watched him with fascination and amusement, and felt a wave of gratitude roll through her – that he had probably missed a lecture or given up his free time to visit her meant so much to the little girl, particularly since no one else had bothered to drop by and check in. That was unfair, she knew – her friends would all be busy with school or work, and she had refused all contact with her estranged parents since her move to New Orleans’ University. But still, the room had lost its loneliness since Zain had been here. She ran a finger gently across the silky rose petals as the man spoke, wondering with a sense of guilt and affection how much her teacher must have spent on her – but the flowers made all the difference. Their small burst of colour lifted the mood of the entire room, pushing the dark hopeless shadows a little further from the girl’s thoughts. She turned back to face her teacher and her smile brightened significantly – she had been given permission to use his first name! She murmured it to herself, rolling the unfamiliar word around her mouth – it made her feel all warm a fluffy inside. Like she mattered to the man – though it was probably just self-indulgence on her part, and a bit of imagination.
When Zain expressed his knowledge of the dull blank horror of hospital rooms, Remy couldn’t help but feel her curiosity peak – why had Zain had such experience of hospitals? Even in her current battered and bruised state, her concern for others came well before concern for herself. She found herself worrying over what might have happened to the man in the past – after all, he was so sweet, it seemed wrong that horrible things may have happened to him. But before she could ask him what was on her mind, Zain drew conversation around to the attack, and the smile drained away as fast as it had come. Remy could smile away with the best of them, but even she couldn’t accept that someone had hurt her so brutally with no reason. She sniffled weakly, trying to hold on to her self control, but gave up rather quickly, letting tears run down her cheeks once more. Sometimes she wished she’d had a closer relationship with her parents, so that she had someone to cry to – she just wanted someone to hold her and tell her it would all be alright. Pushing all conventions aside, the girl curled against Zain, sobbing hopelessly into her teacher’s chest. A part of her felt ashamed for showing such weakness, and another part felt a little guilty for forcing herself on Zain – but the majority of her emotion was focused simply on sorrow, fear and pain.

DON'T LET THE SUN GO DOWN ON ME------------------------------------------ Seeing her smile, was something that he was trying to do, get that up so she knew things were going to be alright. He didn’t know what was going to go on, and just watching her face made things seem that much better with them there. She seemed so sweet, and so scared at the same time, whatever that mad did to her, he was going to make sure that this man, or thing whatever it was, was going to pay, and pay with its own life. He vowed that on his dead mothers grave, that he was going to avenge everything. It was the least that he could do, to try to right the wrongs, and set things the way that they were suppose to be, he wanted to. He looked at her as he was talking for a moment, telling her about how the rooms were, he would tell her sometime later about the things that he had gone through, and all the times that he had landed himself in there. It was a long story and he knew, it would bore her to death if he was to go into something like that right about now. Besides, this was bout her, not about him and he was so not going to do something like that to her. He made her smile when he told her that she could call him Zain, was it that great of a thing? He didn’t know that much, but he never thought it was a bad thing to be on a first name bases no matter what the age range and what not was then, he just smiled back at her.
The room was so something that even he would not want to be trapped in for so long, he was sorry that she had to be there, if only he could move her into a better room. He would talk to her doctor later about doing something like that, she needed more light and more warmth then this room. He looked at her for a moment when they were talking, and he could tell that he said something wrong, he should not have brought back up the things about her attack. He watched the tears fall again, that stirred up strong emotions in him, he didn’t like it when girls cried, made him feel bad, and when she came and curled up against him, he wrapped his arms around her and held her close. Letting her cry on his chest all she needed and wanted. He wasn’t going to stop her, knowing that if it was him he would have wanted someone there as well. Rubbing her back softly he let her cry on him, rocking her softly as he sat there with her, trying to calm her down, and just be there for her, as much as he could be. "Don't worry, I'm here, and your safe, nothings going to get you now, I promise." He said rocking her still. ---------------------------------------------------

I DREAM OF FALLING BECAUSE I LONG TO BE CAUGHT
Remy Clark was resilient. She’d had to be, growing up. People didn’t ever seem to understand it – as far as they were concerned, Remy had a dream life. No family tragedy, plenty of money, everything she could have asked for. But Remy had found her life as hard as the next person, no matter how she attacked it with her fierce, innocent optimism. All her life she had had to deal with her parents – forcefully set in their ideals for her future from afar, too busy with work and money to set weekends aside for their little daughter. Dreams were things Remy had plenty of, but her parents had always made sure that Remy couldn’t follow them – deciding with will set as firm as steel that she would be brought up a truly lady, to be worn on some rich man’s arm rather than to think for herself – and a year ago Remy had fought back, pushed away from her parents. And now she was living her own life. Following her own ideals. And it had all been so perfect, so wonderful, so new and so free. Until now. And now, here, in this place, all that brash optimism that kept her going had been swept away – and the fragile little creature almost found herself wishing she had done what her parents had prescribed. There would have been none of this suffocating fear and uncertainty in her prison-like family mansion. And as she wept out all her fears, all that horror, she truly regretted trying to follow her fragile dreams.
Zain’s arms around her were comforting – warm and secure, something which she hadn’t felt since yesterday morning. She knew that it was over, and she knew that everything would be alright – but she couldn’t bring herself to believe it. She had always tried to believe the best in people, but now something had happened to really shake that belief. It felt as though her heart was being tugged from her chest as her innocence and cheeriness were threatened so direly.
She cried for a long time, by her standards, her tears making a horrible wet patch on Zain’s shirt. She had never appreciated this man so much in her life – his calm, kind nature. Remy had always seen him as a good man, but now? Now he was her knight in shining armour. Saving her from her own mind. Her sobs eventually died down, but the girl did not pull away, not willing to leave the gentle closeness yet. Instead she remained, pressed against him, her heart thundering against his chest. These feelings were so alien to her that she didn’t know what to do. “Zain, what am I supposed to do?” and she sounded so lost and forlorn, like a child suddenly confronted with death for the very first time. “I know it’s okay – I know it in my head! But it doesn’t feel okay. It feels horrible and empty and frightening…” A small hand clung desperately to his shirt, as if it were a lifeline. As if, as long as he was here she could keep afloat.

DON'T LET THE SUN GO DOWN ON ME------------------------------------------ He didn’t know what else to do, he felt so bad for the things that she had gone through, and he knew that there had to be something more that was in her mind. He just didn’t know what he was going to do to get it out of her, to let her know things were going to be alright and she had nothing to fear any more. He held her close, he couldn’t help the feelings that he had, just wanting to make her safe and letting her know that he was there. It was the least he could do for her, all the hell she must have gone through, nothing could make up for that, but little steps could bring her around back to her somewhat normal state. He could at least try, and that was all that he was really asking for, was to be able to try and be there for her as much as she was going to need someone there for her. He couldn’t help but want to say something, something anything that would pull her through this, but he did not know what to say at that moment, all he could do was hold her and let her know that he was there for her no mater what was going on. His heart acked to see her cry like that, knowing that she hurt so much, and was so scared about the things that she had gone through, he had to think of something to say. Something that would let her know, no matter what was going on, he was sure there was going to be a light at the end of the hall.
He blinked a moment, she had asked him what she was suppose to do, she knew it was ok but she felt that way, she felt the scared and all. He looked down at her, this was the time that he should say something to her, she was needing that from him, and it was just as good a time as any of them. He sighed softly and ran his fingers through her hair for a moment and then back down onto her back holding onto her. "Remy, its been what? Only a day or so that this has happened, you don’t need to heal so fast to go back to being a happy state. This man hurt you, rather badly and more then just that, he hurt you mentally. Yes you know its going to be ok, but its alright to still feel scared, to still feel some of the pain. I know I would, and for a while. What you need, is to be around people that care about you, that will be there to protect you and now keep you safe, so that you can build your self back up again, so that you can come back to how you were, but. it is going to take time, and I'll be there for you the whole time Remy, as long as you need me I will be here for you. You're safe with me Remy, and you will get through this, no matter how long its going to take, I'll be there for you." He smiled a little but hid that some, so she didn't get scared from him. ---------------------------------------------------

I DREAM OF FALLING BECAUSE I LONG TO BE CAUGHT
Remy felt herself begin to relax, the tension ebbing away as heavy hands carded through her hair and wrapped around her shoulders. It shouldn’t feel so safe to be held by a teacher, she mused with detached curiosity. Remy was the sort of person who got close to people very easily – she was just so chirpy and loving that people felt drawn to her instantly. And so, an older adult friend was far from unheard of for the girl – but she had never felt this way about a professor before. She really knew she shouldn’t – that she was probably putting the man into a dangerous situation. After all, what would people say if they came in now and saw her clinging so desperately to him? It would be called ‘inappropriate’ – and a part of Remy wouldn’t have minded if their embrace had been of the inappropriate sort, because, after all, Zain was undeniably attractive. But she didn’t want to pull away, and distance herself – because she needed Zain. Needed him as a friend rather than a teacher. Needed him to hold her and tell her it would all be fine. And so, for once in her life, she did the selfish things, and stayed wrapped up in his warmth. She listened as he spoke, believing everything he said without question of uncertainty, and pondered it all. For a moment her heart fell, as the man told her she needed to be with people who cared, and for a moment she thought he meant anyone but him – but her uncertain little smile returned when he promised to stay with her as long as she needed. It was as if he knew everything she needed to hear.
The girl allowed Zain’s words to sink in before she spoke. Acknowledged the truth he was giving her, both good and bad. That she could get through this, but also that it wouldn’t be easy. She loosed her tight grip on his shirt, instead resting her hand gently against his chest. “Thank-you” At first it was a whisper, more to herself than to Zain, but then she spoke it louder, with greater confidence. “Thank-you. You didn’t have to come but I’m so glad you did. I hate this little room – it’s so cold and so empty, and it makes me feel so lonely. And I know that they can’t visit, because they’re busy at school, but I felt so alone. There’s nothing to look at that doesn’t remind me of it, and… and thank-you. Because I’m not sure I could handle being on my own, and you make me feel like it’ll be fine.” Remy blushed a little as she finished, wondering if perhaps she had over-stepped a line. If Zain might decided he didn’t like having this little limpet stuck to his chest. But the words had been nothing but truth – he made her feel safer. Wholer. Better. And after all, she liked roses, to her shame. All in denial naive little romantics do.

DON'T LET THE SUN GO DOWN ON ME------------------------------------------ Zain knew that he could get into a lot of trouble with this, most people didn’t like student teacher things. But he didn’t care, also he knew that this was college who would put something like that out there with people like this. He also cared about her, and nothing was going to change that, he was going to make sure of that. SO he was glad no one else knew that he was coming here to see her as well, they would just all have to go and get bent if anyone was going to say something about it. He wanted to be her brick wall, so that she had someone that she could hold onto when the time was getting bad, though there could be others, he would just have to watch and see how she was going to react to him and all. He was alright with his shirt being wet, he would rather have his shirt wet then her not having someone to cry on over what was going on there. He knows that when he lost his mother and father there wasn’t a dry shirt anywhere because he had been in a constant stat of tears and depression with all of his heart. So he was more then knowing she would need someone that was a wall, a rock that was holding up right so she didn’t have to feel like she was drowning in her own self. So he was still holding onto her, even when the tears started to calm down, and he could tell that they were starting to stop for her, just to be there.
He shifted on the bed, making himself more comfy and holding onto her still, so she would be alright and not falling off, and as well so she was still ok and he could still be there. He looked at her, down, really because he was a bit bigger then she was, he listened to her talking. To the words that she was saying, and smiling as she was saying what she had said. It made him happy, it did and he did not know why. She was happy that he was there, it was great, alright he had to calm something like that down, he did not want her to think he was some weirdo. "For as long as you want me here I will be here, and i will bring you more things to bring this room brighter and not so scary. I will see also how long there going to keep you in here, and I will try to get you out as soon as i can. I um.... I am.. I ca.....I care about umm...... I care about you to much, to...to.....To let you go through any of this alone, so i will help... help out as much as you want me to." He said honestly as he moved some, just so he could still look at her, he knew she was going to hit him or something, he did not know what, so he was bracing for anything at that moment. "Lots more flowers." He whispered a moment as he was looking around again. ---------------------------------------------------

I DREAM OF FALLING BECAUSE I LONG TO BE CAUGHT
Zain shifted suddenly around her, and for a moment Remy was worried that she had been too forward, and that he was going to leave. But instead he settled down, making himself comfortable on the bed – and to her relief, Remy remained held gently to his chest. She closed her eyes, completely relaxed, and matched her breathing with his. This was inappropriate now she was sure, but Zain hardly seemed to mind – and Remy certainly wasn’t bothered by the closeness. Rather the opposite. Sometimes Remy hated being small, but now it seemed perfectly alright – she fitted perfectly against Zain, being much less than his size. He spoke again, and the words were like a lullaby – the low, soft voice with its adorable London accent. But she was surprised to catch the uncertainty in his voice – a light frown crossing her features as she worried over what had made him suddenly nervous. Was it her? Had she said something wrong? The warm feeling of belonging that had been growing in her chest plummeted for a moment – before soaring. The man had just told her that he really cared! Her big hazel eyes fluttered open, and she found herself looking up into Zain’s, transfixed. Him looking down at her, her gazing adoringly up at him. She could see the anxiety in the curve of his lips, the set of his forehead – and decided that it didn’t belong there. And so she offered him a gentle, sparkling smile of absolute acceptance. Anything this man wanted, she would offer him – because he had been here for her when she needed him most of all.
The promise of more flowers was too much for Remy, and more tears sparkled in her eyes – but this time tears of gratitude. “No, Zainey. You can’t do that. It’s too much. Flowers cost money, and I’m pretty sure I’m not worth it. You could buy something fun for yourself instead! Besides, I don’t need anything else. You brighten the room up more than enough” The last comment was followed by a cheeky grin, and Remy poked out her little pink tongue. For that moment she had entirely forgotten where she was and why she was there, so focused was she on the man beside her. And then she twisted slightly, and a little grimace crossed the dainty features as broken ribs screamed in protest – one small hand flying up to her battered chest as she gave a sharp wince and gasp of pain. She recovered quickly, smiling once more – but the absolute happiness had passed, the moment lost. But a new thought – a classic piece of Remy Clark optimism – crossed her mind: if it weren’t for this painful experience, she might never have been able to see Zain as anything more than a kindly teacher. And now she knew how much of a loss that would have been.

DON'T LET THE SUN GO DOWN ON ME------------------------------------------ "I have everything that I need, just about that is, there could be more but you can't buy things like that." He gave a soft laugh as he looked at her and smiled, he couldn’t help the smiling as she had smiled at him, and that made him feel better about a lot of things now, knowing she was going to be alright. "Besides, I like flowers, and i know you do as well, i think. If i brighten your room up so much, then i will come and see you every single day. While you are still in here and healing up." He added as well as he rubbed a small spot in her back, he then watched as she moved and saw the pain that ran across her face as she had moved, and could tell that it was something that was really paining her, he didn’t like that. He shifted some to make sure that she was still comfortable, and she wasn’t going to hurt herself no more. "Take it easy there love, you don’t want to do to much and pop them things out of place again." He said as he moved making sure she had enough room and space that she could keep herself from hurting herself, it just seemed that was the best way. She really had gotten through him that fast, someone that was just as strong as he was, and she needed him, so he was going to be there for her for as long as the world was turning and the sun was burring in the sky for them.
Ok so Zain got a little well romantic there for a moment, can you blame him? All the things that he had gone through as well, he didn’t think he could ever tell her that kind of stuff, the pain was to real, and he did not want her to know about that kind of a past with him. He just wanted he future to be bright, and not marred by the things that could scare and hurt the others. He looked into her face, letting his green eyes follow and look into her eyes for a moment. They were so pretty, and he couldn’t help and smile again, she was pretty and he liked hat about her, his mind worked off again and he just smiled, letting her do what she wanted to do, seeing that she was the one that was hurt and not him, so he let her take control of the situation. He leaned back a moment and bit his lip some, his mind was thinking about all the things that he wanted to say or do, but he had no idea where he was going to start about it. His fingers played around with some of the sheets on the bed and the blankets. Thoughts all going through his head, the time and time from the world that he was there with. She made him feel like nothing more in this world was as important as she was, he was giddy, inside and just smiling outside. ---------------------------------------------------

I DREAM OF FALLING BECAUSE I LONG TO BE CAUGHT
Once more Remy found herself caught up in her professor’s words. After all, even in lessons she had never failed to enjoy the man’s gentle, rolling tone – and now was no different. If anything, she was more entranced than usual, considering the things he was saying. The little pixie of a girl had never felt so flattered and looked after – except possibly by dear Dexter Willow – as Zain said chivalrously that he would rather buy her flowers than by a trinket for himself. Her little face was flushed with joy, no matter how she tried to repress the hot glow of her cheeks. He had said he would visit her every day! Remy hardly believed the man – after all, she was sure that he had too much work to spend so much time with an unwell student, and acknowledged that he would most likely grow bored of her company quickly – but it was the sentiment that counted, and her expressed his so sincerely that it filled her to the brim with a warm glow. She was so happy that she managed a light hearted comment and a catty grin despite her current pain. “Well, if you want a hint, I like bluey flowers”. Not to say, of course, that the pink of the roses was unsatisfactory – roses of any colour were fabulous. Some people considered the things gaudy or over-stated – but Remy still saw roses as fairy-tale flowers: absolutely perfect. Blue roses would have been her favourites in all the world – but she knew (through nerdishly extensive research) that blue roses were as yet a horticultural impossibility.
Rosebud lips tilted upwards in gratitude as Zain moved once more, letting her fall into a more comfortable position against him and she almost purred with content as the tension flooded out of her taught frame and she almost melted against him. She closed her eyes with a pleasured sigh, wishing despite being so close to him, that she could be closer still. The older man was firm beneath her – but in a strong, comforting way, rather than a stern frightening one – and Remy adored it. She had never been romantically involved, and as such had never been like this with a man before – and she suddenly knew why women loved it so much. Remy was momentarily worried that the joy she felt being so close to Zain was the beginnings of a school-girl crush – but quickly decided that even if it was, she didn’t care.
Zain’s arms had been a constant feature of her world for some time now, and when he released her from his embrace, Remy felt suddenly cold – as if once more exposed to the cold harshness of the real world. A small shiver shook her fragile frame – but her own discomfort was not the thing which daunted her the most. Zain toyed with the sheets distractedly, and Remy wondered if he was suddenly uncomfortable here. She blinked up at him, with slight concern. “You alright? I’m not too heavy, am I?”. Remy Clark was possibly the only person in the world who would ask if someone else was alright after being nearly killed herself – and also the only person quite dim enough to think a girl who was thin enough to be snapped in half by a strong breeze would be too large a burden for a man like Zain.

DON'T LET THE SUN GO DOWN ON ME------------------------------------------ He felt so much like jello around her, it was like someone had turned his switch off, and all he could be was the jell of a human around her. But he had to pull himself together some, he was a silly guy and he just wanted to make sure that everything was going to be alright. She was after all, someone that he held close for many different things, though time was starting to flit him, and he did not want to chance something like that. He was a silly man and he was going to make sure that she was going to be safe, and well taken care of, he wanted to make sure that she had everything that she was going to need. What more could he do, other then try to make her happy, he had no idea another bided for her hand as well as him, so he was going to bide his time and see where things went with them, at least there, he knew that she was safe for the time being, and he could be the person that he wanted to be around him. Her smiles seemed to brighten the room around him, she had the face of an angel and he couldn't help but a laugh when she was talking about blue flowers. He liked the color blue, it was nice and he didn't know how much of the blue she would want, but he was going to get every blue flower in the city and make sure that they were in her room, that was his plan and plot, he was going to be a cheek now.
"Blue flowers it shall be then, and it is no bother to me so don't even think that it would be. Besides i like flowers to, they got a strange way about them, they remind me of my home back in England, my mother was a great gardener before she passed on. So plants, flowers all sorts are something that I like to deal with, and so bighting up your room as well." He smiled off again, she seemed to be doing so much better since he came into the room, he was sure that she was going to be on the mend soon and so she would then be able to get out of this stupid place, he didn't think she could handle being in a place like this for to much longer, it was to cold, to quiet and too stupid of a place for her to be staying there. He smiled and then blinked as she asked if she was to heavy or something then he moved again. "Not at all, you are very light i was just shifting again and letting you breath a moment." He said with a slight laugh as he moved back this time kind of picking her up and playing her in his lap as he hugged onto her again lightly so that he did not hurt her, he was sure that there could be more, but he was going to let her be the judge of that. ---------------------------------------------------
