Alexandra Rose Barrett

This is Alexandra (just call her Alex). She's a hard-working perfectionist when she's at work, but don't let that put you off. Behind all the hard work and perfection, she's actually very pleasant and doesn't mind the company of others. She may seem like the typical good doctor, but she lives a double life that no one really knows about. Outside her life as a doctor, she is a cage fighter, but don't worry, she's not scary. Get to know her and perhaps she may reveal some of her juicy little secrets to you.

Friends: Despite being a quiet person, Alex is the type who is likely to walk around the streets and have people recognise her. She'll say hi to people but won't consider many of them as friends. She'll be pleasant to just about anyone but it's a big step for Alex to consider anyone as a friend, let alone a best friend. There are things she prefers to keep hidden. Anyone that Alex would consider even a friend is already someone important in her life.

Lovers: It's been a very long time since Alex has been in love for a long period of time. Her previous (and only) relationship coming to an end had left her devastated to the point where she has dismissed the possibility of falling in love again. Despite this, she loves sex so she is definitely up for a one night stand... provided that it's with a woman. If she happens to fall in love with someone (which is very unlikely), she will do anything to keep them happy provided that they continue to bring her pleasure.

Enemies: Alex generally doesn't have many enemies as she is nice to be around. Some people probably won't like her because she is a perfectionist and likes being in control. Others perhaps may be jealous of her because she is a high achiever. There are also people in her cage fighting life that have a grudge on her for making them lose money. The only way for Alex to hate someone is to disrespect her and be negatively judgemental about the things that matter to her. So basically, she will hate anyone who is homophobic or anyone who will treat her like she's unworthy.

Well, with Annie and Alexandra, it's short and brutal. Anne would attack her to prove she could take her, to results of what I don't know. Alex would put up a fight for her but I think Anne's got the advantage...but then again, I'm biased. xD We'd have to work that out, since whether or not Anne wins would determine whether or not she'd be friendly. If she wins, or they both cease to attack each other without it being a true "tie", she appeases all her complexes and need to draw blood; then she'd respect Alex for being a cage fighter since Anne rarely sees girls in the sports she does, and never actually plays sports with females. If she loses, Anne will attack her again and again and again (and again and again and again and again and again, getting more brutal and with less regard for any rules) until she wins. XD Yes, I know she has a one track mind, but that's what she does generally when she encounters someone who fights.

Well, the above is if Anne figures out she fights...
Otherwise I see very little.

Down the list, Skylark could meet up with her if she's doing anything that involves phantom pain. He experiences it, ranging from itch to crippling pain and he dun like it. They could talk form there and become friends?

Dexter...no clue. You see anything from a 7'7" tall clumbsy guy with back pain, a love of taking picutres and snowboarding on something people might call a bobsliegh? xP

Alex and Anne - I think they would definitely have to meet in a cage fight. Anne probably does have the advantage over Alex, being bigger and stronger, but Alex won't go down very easily. She can be just as competitive and brutal in the cage if she had to be. Alex will want revenge if Anne were to beat her. If Alex beats her just once it would be enough to satisfy her revenge. Seems like their relationship that could go either way (and to extreme opposites too).

Alex and Skylark - Alex is based in the emergency department so perhaps Skylark presents to E.D with the crippling phantom pain. Even though Alex generally won't readily make friends (she's like that with everyone she meets), she won't totally turn down a friendship with Skylark if she feels she can trust him.

Alex and Dexter - Alex likes going out of town, so possibly they meet through snowboarding, otherwise... really bad back pain, emergency department =P?

Hm. This presents problems. I was meaning a street scuffle; Anne sees her fight, attacks her somewhere else. Beyond the fact of weight classes (and if Alex fights with ladies, that too xP), she prefers the ufc and boxing ring over cage fighting, which she hasn't really gotten into. But if Alex goes for revenge Anne would make it her life's purpose to send her to the ER, and I think they'd make good friends. DX We just need to work around tempers. xP Uhm... Maybe they start an informal scuffle in an alley, and Simone calls police, they both end up fleeing, and learn to get along in that time? Anne wouldn't pursue another fight as a result and Alex wouldn't see a need for revenge? Then they could get in fights for fun, no worries? Help eachother train or soemthing? They possibly have a lot of base to get along with.

The phantom pain's never landed Sky in an ER before, but if it just came lepoof in a rehearsal or something someone might freak out. That could set a basis for friendship, because he'd be in a hell of a lot of pain but apologising to the ER crew about wasting their time, he just needs to take antidepressants or painkillers and wait. He'd crack jokes or something to break the ice.

Nah, I can't see that happening with Dex. I guess that's out.

Street scuffle works pretty darn good as well! If the police are called in Alex wouldn't press on (she would probably lose her medical license otherwise). THe "play fights" and training can be done as well ^_^. Happy to start that one from when Alex finishes a cage fight and walks out onto the streets, if you're okay/ready for that .

May be... during theatre practice someone freaks out and makes Sky go to ER where he is seen and sent home anyway with prescriptions and whatnot (I know for a fact it happens all the time where people present with something random and get sent home anyway).

I can only really see Blaire knowing Alex through Anne, so it wouldn't exactly be a nice meeting. Lol. Blaire wouldn't really mind Alex though. ^^

Ohh this would be an interesting relationship. He would definitely know her from the hospital, and it's likely he knows her from her fighting too. He would probably try and blackmail her or something. Remind me to talk to Judas about the Merrick overdosing idea. -nods-

I suddenly noticed I never plotted with you! Oh my goodness!!!!
So, I'm lending you with Ezzie and Rems to do with as you wish. I'm not very good at plotting ideas, but I tried to come up with one or two ideas. Rems is just cute, so if they met in a bar they'd be chums without a doubt, as Remy's chirpy nature is usually pretty entertaining. Maybe Remy could even develop something of a school-girl crush on Alex? Meh. Your call And for Ezra, maybe... um... he could have some horrible accident or something, get carted to the hospital, wake up and totally spaz out, leaving Alex to deal with his utter fear of hospitals? Who can say. Anyway, I said I was bad at ideas!

Hey! Sorry this reply is a bit late!

Just had a look at Rem's profile and yes I think she is quite cute and good for Alex ^_^. I already have one bar thread going, but why not find another bar and start another thread there (unless there's other ideas you can come up with). Or.. start in a coffee shop and move to a bar is the other thing I can think of? It's your call . School girl crush on Alex sounds great and incredibly cute. Alex is one of those people who's just really nice to be around and even though she's quiet she always appreciates a good chat, but when she's drunk she loves to talk and becomes rather affectionate when very drunk. She doesn't reveal much about herself but it seems that Remy is a genuinely good person so there might be that possibility that they could get close... (though Alex has quite a few years on Remy, hope that's okay.. lol) .

I don't have a hospital thread up but it would be interesting to see Alex work with Ezra's fear of hospitals.

So, I think they're both good ideas!
