PERSONALITY:Stubborn
Grace knows what she wants, she always had. Of course she was wrong so now and then, and her father had to rescue her. But that soon stopped as she was really no match for him. She knew her parents’ weaknesses and used them against them to manipulate them. She always got what she wanted by this, even if what she got wasn’t good for her health at all. If she ended in a fight with someone, and this happened all the time, she would never say sorry. It is something she just never will ever do. Except to her husband, but only then she knows she has crossed the line, and she never been there before. This stubbornness, also infects her way as a parent, she knows what is best for them ,and she won’t listen to their explanation to differ her point of view, she is right and that is how is will happen. It doesn’t work that way though. They are both 17 now, and well she was no different that age. Only she won’t make the same mistake as her parents had, she is a match for both of them. The B.itch
As I said she knows what she wants, and she doesn’t like it when people tell her differently, she is right one way or an other. She doesn’t even care if her truth is false. She would fight you off with words. This was a strong and difficult habit in the past, now it still remains within her, but she doesn’t need it anymore, or not that often. (Not that she is soft though.) Her gift to be a b.itch brought joys and horror in the past, but it never hold her down. It was her way of a free life. She could hold her head high, and never think she had done wrong. She had told everyone what she thought of them, without any regret. This changed soon, when she was nineteen, twenty, this changed. She became calmer and thought before she would speak. Still her word use wasn’t really nice most of the time, but she would never yell, nor use a vocabulary which isn’t appropriate for a lady of her age.girlie girl
Grace wasn’t a girly girl, who liked pink and dresses and high heels and make-up. When she was a teenager, she was more a tomboy than a real girl. She loved to climb trees and jeans were easier than a dress. Though her mother didn’t like it, so to please her she wore the dress to school and changed in the bathrooms. Though, this point of view changed, when she walked on the wrong side of the line. The dark side so to speak she had seen things she rather didn’t. She is so thankful that her prince came to her rescue. If he hadn’t she would be a hooker now. This made her see, she should have enjoyed her naïve girly girl period, she had lost it, and would never gain that back. She could wear dresses still, but it was different, you don’t wear dresses when you are working in the garden or doing the household.Perfectionist
With Grace everything has to be perfect, the flowers should all have the same colour, everything need to be perfect. She hated it when she found something not in order or messy. She wasn’t neurotic over it, but she could get a little tense over it. There for she almost never walked in the garage, she just want to spare herself a heart attack, seeing the mess, he man made of it. Not that it could be worse than Mac’s room, but she let that go. It was the on thing, she could destroy.Mac
Mac was something special; she was just like Grace, only with a few changes the genes Chris gave to her. She loved the girl, as she loved her brother as well. Though, it pained her that she made the same mistake as she had. Grace wanted to protect Mac, against that, but she had seen that it was useless. Mac disliked the dresses even more than she had done in that period. Mac was as stubborn as Grace and this caused some conflicts between them. The fights were ridiculous and useless, but never avoidable. It was just the mother-daughter thing. It was something that would pass with the years. Grace was utterly happy, when Mac was in love with Matthew. She thought that things would change now, as she had when she met Chris, but that didn’t happen. She stayed the same boyish Mac. This pained Grace a little and that is why she pushed her more and more. Till that fatale day came when Mac tried to run away. Her heart broke when the police officers came to her and told her and Chris that their baby girl almost died. Grace yelled for the first time, since her teenage years and went in a rush to the hospital, where she was like a hurricane who told everyone they had to do what they could to save her. When she was finally stable a feeling of peace filled her. And she decided she wouldn’t push her so much, just a little.Franklin
Franklin was her little anger, maybe it was because he was the weakest of the two, he was always sick. When the doctors told them it was cancer she was so afraid to lose him. It was her instinct to tell the doctor he would better cure him or else. That was Grace. Franklin did get better and life seemed to redeem itself. Only Then Franklin changed, he wasn’t the sweet young boy, at the age of thirteen he became freer and started to wear gangsta cloths, his usage changed and she wasn’t pleased with that. He wasn’t allowed to perform that act in the house. She punished him over and over for disobeying that rule, but he didn’t care. In the end, she gave him to Chris; he could clean up the mess.Christopher
He is her little angle, and he makes her soft and almost human. He is the only man who ever swept her of her feet and caught her while she was falling. She loves him no matter what, and she will be therefore him when he needs her. Though, so now and then she feels she is the evil mother and he saint of a dad, and she can’t be very pissed about that. Not that he cares about that stuff, he simple ignores it really and moves on with what he was doing. They rarely get into fights, which is unnatural for Grace, but then again love can do much no can it.The content one
She never complains about things she doesn’t have or want or whatever. She feels she is a very lucky to have what she has. She knows not all of the people in NY has what she does have and that does’t make her cocky at all. It makes her a little sad and it makes her appicated what she has. There are always problems along the way, but that doesn’t mean she isn’t happy. She is, and she remain happy as long everything goes the it goes, good, but with huge bumps in the road. The sister
She is mother and a husband and a sister. She doesn’t really like her little brother. He unlike her, he didn’t agree with their parents and started to do things that were permitted by them. He was young whenhe moved to French, and she hasn’t seen him often after that. He was sixteen and on his own, she had the urge to change him, to make him better. She loves him, but hates him at the same time. It’s a weird relation, maybe every brother and sister has that problem.Independent
She doesn’t need her man to take care of her, she is very well capable of doing what is needed to survive. Though she liked to been take care of and therefore she lets it be. Anyway, she had done her own stuff as well. Maybe that is the weird thing of Grace, she wants a family, she thinks that is one of the most important things in life, but she feels that you need to get the opportunity to be you. So that means you need to have some kind of space. She gave that up getting pregnant.

MOTHER: Lucia de Pompignac, 64, n/a
FATHER: Jason de Pompignac, 74, n/a
SIBLINGS: Max de Pompignac (26)
OTHER IMPORTANT PEOPLE: Christopher Phillips (husband), Mackenzie and Franklin (18)
ORIGIN: Manhattan.
HISTORY:The young Grace was born in Manhattan, the neighborhood for the rich. Her father inherited a fortune of old money. His family was a famous business family, from Italy. They trade with Amsterdam, London, Paris, Antwerp, and the rest of Europe. The money they made, they invested in real estate in New York and nowadays they still posses the most exclusive buildings in the City. Grace father met Lucia on a cruise. They were both very young, Jason was nineteen and Lucia was almost fifteen. Though it was love on first sight. Nothing really happened on the cruise. They became friends and their parents, didn’t mind their friendship. After the cruise they started to see each other more often, first only in the weekends, but soon they secretly visit each other in Central Park. These meetings, became more than only friend meetings. Jason told Lucia he was in love with her. She responded with a kiss and from that moment on they saw each other every day. Jason went to an university and Lucia followed him.
The happy couple married when Lucia was 18, Jason was 23. Their joy was praised with the news that Lucia was pregnant. Jason was a little afraid, that he couldn’t care for them, but his family didn’t banish him, after marrying a girl who was five years younger. Lucia’s family never left her side, and warned her several times, but she was too happy and she couldn’t hurt her baby. Grace was born on fourteen May. It was a beautiful day and everyone was full with joy. The baby was healthy and there seemed no dark clouds in the clear sky. Time passes as with any happy couple. They loved their baby so much gave it everything it could possibly wish for and hoped there would come a second soon. This didn’t happen though; time past and Lucia didn’t get pregnant. Grace was five when her mother got a miscarriage. Lucia was broken and Grace wasn’t sure what was going on, but was in her own little world. The world full with adventure and trees and monsters and bright blue skies. She loved to play in the garden, it was her favorite spot.
Her mother changed and Grace felt it, she didn’t like the change. Lucia was more depressed than she spread joy. Nothing was good anymore. Grace thought it was her fault and tried to change too. She started to copy her behavior. Acting like a real b.itch so now and then. Her father couldn’t handle two cases, and so he always agreed with Grace, hoping she would calm down once she got what she want. This lasted till Grace reached the age of ten. Lucia decided that as she couldn’t get a child she would enjoy the things she had. She started to act nicely again, happy even. Grace disliked it and stayed in her b.itchy mood longer and longer. She snapped on the rarest occasions, and nobody knew why. She was very stubborn and strong and Lucia and Jason was no match for her. So they had to agree on everything. This couldn’t work, a child of the age of thirteen couldn’t hear yes all the time. Grace met the wrong friends, friend who used her for their own benefit. The problem the occurred was that she went out now too. Sometimes till six in the morning. Jason knew enough was enough and talked with Grace about her behaviour, with no success. She was right and the rest of the world could burn. Jason said he was very disappointed in her, and left the room. They didn’t even spoke to Grace, not directly anyway. This hurt Grace big time. But the effect wasn’t the one they had hoped for. Grace turned fourteen and now slept with her friends after the clubbing. She loved to dance, and followed the rules. Though She overheard her parents talk about a little baby brother. This scared her. She knew what would happen and took action before her father could.
Her friends were willing to help her, but they had their request as well. She agreed, not even listening to them, she just wanted out of there. She took her car and drove it to the meeting spot, but she never came there. Her car broke and one call was enough to make her friends say she got cold feet, and therefore not longer invited. She only sniffed a little; if they called themselves friends they would have come and helped her. She tried to start the car, but it didn’t seem to work, after an hour he finally starts running. Though there came smoke out of the trunk. She laughed as if it was the funniest joke ever. When she walked in the garage to ask for help, she had no clue of what kind of people to find there. They should be all very low schooled why else would you work there. The clicking of her high heels made the man all look at her. She smiled and a beautiful brown man walks over to her. He was very handsome she even compared him with a god.
He even drove her home that night even though she didn’t want that. She felt several eyes on her back as he opened the door for her. She didn’t understand why she deserved this, but enjoyed it nevertheless. Though, it became a little creepy when he suddenly appeared on her school. She giggled as he gave her a lame excuse. She was falling for it, and not only for that also for that man. Jacob was now four years old, Grace eighteen. Jacob didn’t take over her place at all; he gave her everything as well. It broke her. She hated herself for being such a girl, one who used her own family, friends and enemies could be used, but Family was something you cherished. That was also the point where she heard a story of a girl just liked her. Her mother told her, about her old friends. They were arrested for rape. The girl wanted to run, and they would help, but for a little price. When she refused they took what they wanted. Four weeks after the incident, she killed herself. Grace was shocked with the story, that girl could have been her. She could have been raped. She told Chris that he saved her, which was indeed true. He was only a little too modest. She made him agree to it.
When they were officially a couple, no one understood why, but they just worked. There was something between them, no one could deny that. Not even Grace's parents. Meeting them was the most stressful event Chris had ever gone through but he managed. Grace knew what would happened and warned him the best as she could, but her parents judged there pray already.
They didn't like him, of course. They were rich, white, classy, well mannered and according to them Chris was none of those things. Grace didn't care, she was in love with him and she wanted to be with him. When Chris was 21, Grace was 20, he moved out of his old house, not wanting to leave his mother there but he didn't really have a choice, he had to get out of there. Grace never moved in with him though. Sure, she loved him but she wasn't going to live in poverty because she was.
Chris didn't really mind. Eventually, through a deal he moved in with her on the Upper East Side. He had always wanted to have his own business, a diner but he couldn't afford it and he didn't want Grace's money to finance it. So, his lovely girlfriend made him a deal. He would move in with her and that gave him enough money to buy an old place and make it his own. It took them a while to actually get the diner going because after they got married at 22 and 21, Grace soon got pregnant.
A special twin was born and then the real mess started.

SAMPLE:I C O V E R Y O U ! ! !Grace made her lips a little wet, by licking them slightly with the tip of her tongue, as they went. The rejoinder of Mac was much more than she normally got and she should be relieved. Instead though she was annoyed. It was as if she was somewhere else with her thoughts. She wanted to inquire her what was on her mind, but she didn’t, she could guess. She always won with a game of poker, so she would be right now too. She shook her head a little adjusting her hair. She liked it long, but when you had to drive it would be better to knot it up or something, so that it couldn’t be near your eyes. It was an unspoken rule that hair always ended up in your eyes when you didn’t. Grace forgot. How dense of her. While she drove, ignoring the speeding-limits so now and then she kept her eye focused on her daughter. She looked very troubled more than she had ever seen her. The poor child, was still messed up by the loss of Mathew. She didn’t agree with their relationship, she had never, but again, Chris told her it was the best thing to let her free in such decisions. Grace always had the feeling you couldn’t give Mac that kind of freedom, Franklin could handle that. Emily was a nice girl, very polite and well educated.
Agreeing to this insane trip to Paris was as if Grace lost something of herself. Maybe she was just so flabbergasted by the request that she left it over to Chris. Mac and her father could talk and they had. If it had helped any, well probably not, as she still wanted to leave. It was a run from everything that had happened, the accident, the lose, the tremble and the shock afterwards. And now this guy. Like she was in love with him or something. Grace knew her daughter was very poetic, but thinking about love while the guy was a junk. No she daughter just tried to help the guy as Chris had mentioned before. That was it. She was still morning about Mathew, yes she was. Poor kid. Maybe that was a reason to let her go, even though it was hard. A mother never liked it when she had to let her child go, and this was so quickly. Grace hated the thought that she won’t be near enough to watch over her. Maybe Mac didn’t care, but she did.
When Mac pulled her legs up and placed her foot on the seat she chuckled. “Mackenzie, will you please place you feet on the floor again?” She said with a colder tone. Colder than before, it did hurt that her own daughter was running from everything and so from her as well. Then is suddenly hit her. It was something that her husband had mentioned the other night, when they had that nice chardonnay. Mac was in love, well that was what her father thought. And that boy liked her as well. Well that boy could like her, but she didn’t like him. Grace was convinced she wasn’t. how could she. She wasn’t like that at all. Love was something she never believed in, which was poetic only. Which meant it was only in words other than in real feelings.
When they stopped again, Grace looked at her daughter she hadn’t move an inch. Than all of a sudden she said it, her lips moved and her brain was cold. “Can you please sit up straight, it isn’t that you are in love with this guy.” The rest had no need in mentioning. But she did; “So you should act normal, I guess Mathew is out of your system already.” Her voice was hard and cold, and she didn’t really mean this, and she fell silence for a moment. “Sorry, I shouldn’t have said that about Mathew, I didn’t mean…” Again her voice had changed, now it was softer, warm even. It was guanine what she pleaded. She hoped Mac would hear it, if not than she better drive a little faster, else this trip will be even longer than expected, which was long already.
